Rear Gas het not Working

The rear heat zone 3 on gas is not working. No air is coming out of the vents under the shower and bed. Any suggestions?

You might check the control panel and the lights to make sure everything is working correctly; as well as the pump. Since I don't know how your zones are setup, check zone 3 on the panel. If the pumps are circulating and the lights are correct. You might swap relays (if your system has them) to determine if you have a bad relay, which controls the fan in that zone.

I'm parked with a friend who has an 06 Magna, and two of his three zones weren't working. A mobile tech came out and replaced the relays and all are working fine now. Could be the relays.

On the top of the Aquahot , there are brass angle devices that have check valves within them. These angle check valves are prone to getting stuck. Go and tap the valves on the top, with a good solid rap. If you feel the rubber hose a bit down stream of the valve, it will be cold, and after hitting it it will get warm and give heat to the zone. The person who replaced the relays---it may have been the relay, but on the other hand it could have been a stuck valve and you got taken----just saying--hope not. This is a very common problem. Not all techs are completely honest. More than once I have been oversold. I talked to one of the techs, recommended often here and he said he had said he was given hell for providing too much free information here. This is one tech about another tech. I guess , there should be more flaming coming!

I second the Tap or Rap on this check valve. This past year we were in Alaska and it was getting cold at nite.
I contacted an AquaHot web site and was told to do the same thing. I'm not one that believes in get a "BIGGER HAMMER" if things don't work or fit. But I did and it worked. They did say if you have to do this more than a couple of times it's time to change this valve.
My 2 cents...
