My ignition key is for a GM ignition switch. Home Depot makes keys too.

Larry,

My iginition key was also a GM key. However I could not find a blank or for the Trimark door and bay locks after looking just about everywhere including a local locksmith. Finally I ran into a youg fella at a local building supply store that was pretty savy about keys. After looking through their blanks he found ones that the groove pattern matched but the key itself was too long. He cut the keys and then, using the original for a guide, ground the length back until it looked correct. They all worked better than the originals.

Just a little trick of his that stuck in my mind.

You can use a ILCO key blank O122AR Y14 for Hudson cylinders.

Forget Home Depot, forget Lowe's. Mostly they have not even the possibility to adjust their key cutting machines. They have to wait for an expert to inspect and maintain their equipment. And don't tell that this key is for a motor home, tell them it is for a mailbox or a steel cabinet.
Better: Go to a locksmith !!
