Windshield Washers Inability to squirt water 4 inches from center of

I have a 2005 Inspire. I have not found successful way to get water to spray high enough on the window to wash the window to the top of the wipers, rather than 3-4 inches above the middle of the arm. Does anyone have any ideas that have been successful for you ?
