E4 error on Xantrax display

Yahoo Message Number: 88538
I have been researching the E4 error. Looks like I have fried my batteries. Have new batteries now, and STILL have an E4 error code on BOTH charger displays. Two questions:
1) How do I reset the error codes
2) Are there 2 display screens for the 4 house batteries? What chargers the 2 motor batteries?

Thanks for the help!

Hi Boyd,

If the error code won't clear, you may need to pull the connector off the back of the Link 2000 , and wait 30 seconds, and reconnect it. I have had to do that several times to reset mine for various reasons.
It has worked every time. On my Link 2000 battery Bank 1 is the 4 deep cycle house batteries, and Bank 2 is the chassis (starting) batteries. The Freedom inverter/charger charges the house batteries and the echo charger and of course the alternator, charge the chassis batteries.
Do you have the manual for the Link 2000? If not it is located here. http://www.xantrex.com/documents/Discontinued-Products/Link2000-445-0198-98-01_rev-1(Vendor).pdf Luck,
