John,

Below is a list of overnight stays in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island during our 49 day Adventure Caravan trip in 2007. These are notes made at the beginning of our stay when we deployed our Datastorm Internet satellite dish. See our blog for more information.
08/04/2007 Bras dor Cape Breton, NS, CANADA Arm of Gold Campground 71 ft At Bras dor Cape Breton NS Arm of Gold Campground #7 for two nights. We lose 6 rigs and pick up 7 for the second half of the trip. We are just 3.9 miles from the ferry terminal, where we catch the ferry for a 14 hour crossing to Newfoundland Monday morning. DirecTV reception is marginal (43 on satellite 101), but datastorm 91 is still great for web and email.
08/02/2007 Thu Baddeck, NS, CANADA Bras Dor Lakes Campground, #12 30 ft Here for two nights. On Friday we will be doing a chartered bus trip (Adventure Caravans) tour around the scenic Cabot Trail. This afternoon we visited the Alexander Graham Bell Museum where we learned that he did a lot more than invent the telephone. 212 miles today.

07/30/2007 Mon Halifax, NS, CANADA Woodhaven RV Park, #12 333 ft 54 muiles today. Near Halifax, Monday thru Wednesday nights. Home of Titantic museum, Halifax Bay explosion in WW I, and Peggys Cove. With Adventure Caravan. Receiving DirecTV satellite 101.
07/28/2007 Sat Lunenburg, NS, CANADA Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground 60 ft Lunenburg Board of Trade Campground for Saturday and Sun nights. 88 miles travelled today.
07/26/2007 Thu Granville_Ferry, NS, CANADA Dunromin Campground #D6 38 ft Near Annapolis Royal NS. We enjoyed the Grand-Pre National Historical Site (Arcadian history) on the way here -- highly recommended.

07/24/2007 Tue Truro, NS, CANADA Scotia Pines Camphround 154 ft Here for two nights near Hilden (Truro) Nova Scotia, for Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Doing the Tidal Bore rafting early Wednesday morning.

07/20/2007 Fri Cavendish, PE, CANADA Cavendish KOA, #144 87 ft Lots of rain last night at Hopewell Cape NB, and light rain to here. Crossed the 10 year old, 9 mile long Confederation Bridge to PEI. Internet Satellite 91 in site 144, but no DirecTV due to tree. Bus tour Saturday, Lobster dinner Sunday, Anne of Green Gables play Monday, leave Tuesday for 13 nights in Nova Scotia.
