Splendide washer dryer

I believe these are produced in Italy, but sold exclusively in the US, does anyone know who are the actual manufacturers?

They are an Italian made product. The only U.S. distributor in the U.S. is Westland Sales in Oregon.

We love our washer/dryer. We found the distributor to be very helpful and responsive when we had an "operator error" imposed issue.

Speaking of washer/dryer's we are thinking about removing ours and wondering if anyone has done this and what did they do with the new space?

We removed ours and had two shelves installed. We mostly dry camp so the washer dryer was never used. A friend of ours did the work. We also removed the rear TV and made that space into additional storage.

We really like having ours on board too, though I bet it's even nicer to have a residential washer and dryer. That isn't something we'll do however, but we sure do love our Samsung refrigerator! Please note, I have definitely had some operator error issues too!

Splendide washers are made by the Indesit Company in Italy and are private labelled, manufactured and sold to Westland which imports and distributes them. Typically a manufacturer like Indesit will modify the appliance to meet the specification of the of the distributor so while you made find the same Indesit washer under another name, they may not actually be the same. Italian appliance manufacturers have been doing this for over 40 years.

Thanks everyone, the reason I was asking is that I am in the UK, so getting parts and a replacement are an issue, as well as pointless having them shipped to the US, then back to Europe. My wife loves hers too by the way, more so than the one at home!

With our new space we installed the XL version of the Splendide. Found a new one here at the park for 1/2 price. It is working great, and holds a much bigger load.
