Yahoo Group Conversations

What is a Conversion with the new Yahoo Groups? It is ALL the messages with the same subject -- dating back 12 years!!!
Take for example the recent messages entitled "Question". When in Conversation/Topic mode and you click on the recent topic call "Question", it opens a window with the "original" question from 2005 -- eight years ago, then compresses 19 messages into one line with "19 more messages", and ends with the most recent reply, which unfortunately can't stand by itself because of how it was written. It says "They're our go-to guys..." without saying who "they" are. (Every message should be able to stand alone). First reaction is to look a few lines up (at the message from 2005) --- wrong. You need to expand the "19 more messages" to look at the last few RECENT messages in the conversation!

When starting a new TOPIC, make it meaningful please.
The good side of Yahoo's TOPIC approach, it that it might link the new conversation with previous conversations about the same topic -- if we are lucky.

I'm still trying to figure out how to start a new topic. I clicked on the new topic tab and it does nothing. HELP!!!!!!!

this board is unusable to me at this point.....safari just locks up everytime i try to read something....this new format pretty much sucks........

I am using Safari and I have no problem reading the new format, is it possible to change your display settings to make it work better for you?
