Gayle, Your comment about "feeling the road" rings true with me. As I have commented I do not have a before experience, however I do find that we are being made aware of every bump and pothole. I would be interested to hear if there is a way of softening that part of the drive experience? Please let me know if you get a solution outside of the group.

Active air does a number of things to the suspension in order to gain control of the roll of the coach in curves etc , which stiffens the suspension. Another issue may be they changed the ride height of the of

the coach a small amount effectively stiffening the suspension. You also may want to check your tire

pressures some morning, they may have brought your tires up to the sticker pressures posted in the

coach. And as tires get older they get stiffer, which seems counter intuitive, but it happens. Did they recalibrate or replace your front shocks. That could also be another issue.

Ron--

We bought system & are driving back to our home in MD from HWH.

Wayne has noticed a much better handling , mostly changing lanes & in curves.

We had a quick "schooling" before we left IA (late yesterday). The most

significant difference I notice (as a rider) is it has made me notice the rough roads MORE!

As we still learning the system, do you have any suggestions to make the ride
"softer"?

Our drive axle is right @ the max
weight. They rode w/ us to

the scale for all the #'s they needed. And I can give them to you if you want.

Any help will be appreciated.

Have 100 miles
to go today &

probably 400+ miles
tomorrow.

Thanks,

Gayle & Wayne

When did you have it installed? What did it cost you? Or was it already on your coach
when you purchased it?

I have had Active Air
on my 2009 Magna

Worth every cent. ! Once you have tried driving with it you will know.
Expensive but worth it. This is

what is being used as standard on the top of the line Foretravel. As well Newell uses a German version.
