Camping World Tyvel covers

Has anyone had any experience the tyvek covers I see at Camping World? Seems like if you secured them tight enough they would give some uv protection and some protection from the elements as well.

Thanks,

Bob,

I had/have one currently. I had to return the first one because it got damaged. I purchased the 3 year protection plan and it worked for the replacement. I had my coach setting in the desert when not being used and I'm sure that caused some of problem for the damage. In the 100's during the summer and 20's during the winter. I have a 40' MH and purchased the one that would fit. It was still loose and I could never get it tight enough to suit me. I now park my MH inside of a storage facility. It did keep the motor home cleaner than when I parked it outside without one. But remember it was parked in the desert and it did get windy and blowing dust. Now on a second note.... I have a brand new cover Tyvek cover in an un-opened box for sale, if you decide to buy one...get in touch with me and I can/will save you some $$$$$, It fits a 38 to 40 foot model..

My experience with car covers is they are hard on the paint especially in areas where sand can get under the cover. I bought a RV cover and never put it on because I wondered what I would do with it if it got wet.

We had one on a few motor homes back, and it stuck on the top. Not easy to release those spots. But it was a Southwind which had a rubber roof which may have been part of the problem.
