Subwoofer power

We have an 06 Allure with a surround sound system and I can't figure out how to turn on the subwoofer?

The power source and switch on mine is behind the black plastic face plate above the door.

Mine is in the forward cupboard over the door.
It could be dead....I replaced mine with a Dayton.
