Hey all

As you may or may not know, We have a 2003 40 Foot 2 slide Tag country coach. I think it has clear coat over paint is that correct?

What kind of wax should I use. We will be getting it back from the mechanic, and I am sure it will be a mess. I have Pro orbiting polisher. I heard about wet floor, Not sure what will look the slickest and last the longest. I want to hear what you use, and how often. To keep her looking sharp..

Thanks so much, yall alway give the best advice

I use Meguiars Marine products for painted fiber glass. They have natural waxes, synthetic waxes, 3 or four grades of compound, cleaners, cleaner waxes, wash solutions, and detailing products. I use Eagle One products for wheels and windows. I tried Rainex and can take it or leave it. The front 3M plastic cover is now going to be your biggest head ache unless the unit has been stored indoors.

Well, I just bought the coach in December. I took it to Florida, to figure out all system and break her in. While stopping in kissimmee Florida, I found a mobil rv detailing guy, best $350 I ever spent. He compounded the coach, waxed, did the roof, made the rims look like mirrors.
I then finished my tour, in Florida. I paid a guy I know, $100 smackers on 2 different times to hand wax. He made it look hard, and it was painful to watch him wax this big land yacht, (But it is alway painful to watch joe work on anything, LoL).
I washed it this Ge-Gloss Heavy duty pesdo rv wash and wax I purchased from Camper World. I also bought a hose hose sprayer with a jar on the bottom. The jar you fill with this wash/wax and you can turn the mix on or off. I thought great just wash, then rinse and done.. Well not really. When it drys the dirt stays on. I can wipe it right off, but with this stuff it seems the dirt won't rinse off. I try it with the brush, then I try just hose and hand dry. Have not found a good wash system yet, but I'm getting there.. All advice will be considered !!!! I own a flex buffer / Polishers. I have been doing cars for years. Its light weight, adjustable speed, orbits, and does a great job with compounds (No swirl marks) The compound and wax I use on cars are from detail king. Great web site, pro products and you can buy everything in bulk.

I have it in my coach. I plan on using him once a year. My coach will be back monday. I am getting air cooler checked and the fan control. After talking to my mehcanic, I think I will let him finish the trans service, and air cooler, but will send it to cummins to double check the fan control. I will get you the number when I get the coach back.. If I don't get back to you by next wednesday, poke me again.
