White streaks gone

Mac,

First, I am a retired High School Principal. Therefore, to our school transportation director, and talked to him about how they use Bus Kote. They pressure wash the roof very carefully, allow to completely dry over night, then apply one coat of Bus Kote ( note the prep/sealer and what ever they sell was not used ) After the first coat is complete dry 24 hours, apply second coat, nothing else ----- You Are Done . This is what I do and every two years I have my sons apply one coat after carefully water pressure the surface. No more white streaks.
Are you considering one coat over the plexiglass over the shower ? This will cut down the temp 10-15 degrees inside your coach, and still give you plenty of light. I did call Bus Kote about the paint on the plexiglass, and they indicated no problem . I think it help the longevity of the plexiglass because you are now reflecting a tremendous about of heat . The outside noise is significantly reduced by the Bus Kote application.
I never answered hyou question about how many gallons to purchase. Your motorhome roof is about 8 feet by slightly less than 40 feet. Therefore, you are about 300 square feet after you take out the satelite base, air-condition, vents, plexiglass, and three fan . I would purchase four gallons. My coach is 36 feet, slightly less than yours. I used one and three quarters of a gallon, I figured one gallon easily covers 150 square feet. I have been using the remainder of the four gallons to re-coat the roof every two years.
Please if you have any question that I might help with give me a call. I think on our cell phones is free. Mine is Verizone
