Bay door switch

My bay doors will lock but they will not unlock. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this switch for a 08 Allure 470? The strange thing is, the small step light is normally very dim but when I push the bay door unlock switch, the light glows bright.

Brett,

The switch is making a ground thru the light. Clean the switch connections and check for a good connection.

That will most likely correct the issue.
