Dish vs. Direct Tv

We have used the Dish Pay-as-you-go service in the past and it worked ok.  But,  the last two times out,  we have been satisfied with the Batwing over the air service.

Look on the bright side of things, for those of us with DirecTV (I'm a new member in our RV, with DNS, and it is doing well - though pricey, for us:)!) - Customer Service will of course improve with the ATT Merger:)!!!

I get more and more excited about the future of better 4G/LTE/Etc. coverage as other players look into different ways of providing coverage. (Google, Musk of Tesla, etc. - have things in the work that should provide solid coverage any many more regions of the USA and the world.)

Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hula, etc. - are really going to turn up the heat on the Cable and Dish type providers.

And, we just spent about $750 to add two different HD Antennas to our arsenal, and that does provide some great options for OTA local content. (Wingegard Auto RAZR (Slick, works well 95% of the time.) Winged Sensar IV, for the few times that the Auto can not get a solid signal...)

Dish or Direct? HD or SD? All personal choices, no right or wrong....

Best to all,

Smitty

Me too when I used it.  Every time I was ata new location,  I would call Dish and ask for the local stations at the zip code I was presently on.  Walla,  no problem.  I could watch all the local stations in HD.
