Eternabond for slideout seam

My slideout has an annoying rain leak that manifests itself at the carpet area aft of the driver seat at the outer wall where the sildeout ends. Based on advice from Kevin, I have screw anchored and resealed the "L" angle bottom corner extrusions. Previous attempts to seal the butt joint on three sides with Sikaflex and 3M urethane sealant beads worked for a while but, seem to have failed over time. This butt joint appears to be subject to a lot of flexing when the room is closed just as it makes contact with the rubber seals.
I have read several glowing reports about Eternabond sealing tape. So, I think I will try it on the top and side joints where the fiberglass outer side wall butts to the slideout roof and side panels.  I plan to apply at the slide top and along the two sides at the butt joint. Questions:
1. How hard is it to apply to the 90 degree angle that I am faced with. Any tricks?
2. Should I use 2 inch width or 4 inch width? I am imagining that the 4 inch would be much more difficult to manipulate on this inside corner.
3. Are there any tricks to installing? I heard that the tape should be kept in a cooler with ice until it is applied to keep it from getting too soft and stretchy on a hot day. Is that a good idea?
4. Should the existing 1/2 inch bead of urethane be removed before the tape is applied?
5. After application, does the tape have a tendency to stick to the rubber bulb seals over time?

Any comments or assistance would be appreciated. I plan to order with rush delivery soon and will be applying as soon as it arrives. I am prepping for a trip to Oregon where rain leaks can create a real headache.

Daron...........I've used Eternabond, but not on the coach. The stuff is SUPER sticky and stays that way. For a better finished look, I would probably scrape off the exisisting caulk in the suspected leak areas. You needn't apply "‹more width than is needed to cover the leaky area. If you only need a 1" strip, cut the tape lengthwise and and apply it that way. Make sure you place it where you want it because once it hits a clean surface, there's no pulling it off for a second try. It's great, long lasting stuff. Eternabond has an installation video on their website that shows how to apply that could be helpful to you.
If any product is going to seal your leak, this tape is it.

Your carpet is too long going behind the slide. Excess is out of sight and sits in hidden dip pan...thus when it rains carpet soaks runoff water.

PULL carpet out  where it's wet give it a haircut.

I have used the Eternabond tape works well on a roof but you can see it if you use it on the sides of the slide.
I had a bad leak on the bedroom slide from all the side seams that took me about 2mo to dry out and fix. I use ProFlexRV Brushable Sealant. Takes 24 to 36hrs to dry but when dry looks like glass and stays flexible when it drys. Check the reviews Floyd 2006 Inspire 51744

PS I live in  Oregon where rain leaks can create a real headache.

Repeat of yes to Enternabond along the top of slide.

On the bottom L angle strips I've so far been OK with:

Drilling and installing screws, and bead of 3M 5200 (fast drying mix) along the leading edge. (As I recall, the drilling was much harder then I anticipated!)

Another owner, Scott I believe, also found 3M colored vinyl tape that matched his coach color pretty well. He ran I think it was a 3/4 or 1" wide strip along this seam too. I have not done this, as I did not find a color that would blend in with our color scheme. And, I don't feel I have any reason to do so. But if I felt I had a chance for leakage form this area, I'd just do the best that I could tape color wise.

(I may have missed that someone else shared this vinyl tape approach, sorry if this is a repeat:)!)

Smitty and all others who responded regarding the Eternabond tape application to the slideout, I appreciate everyone's input. I will apply the tape and report my results about the installation. Then, later I will report on the leak prevention performance in the inevitable Oregon rain.

Thanks for your reply. I wish it were that simple.
Kevin suspected what you describe a couple of years ago. However, his personal inspection revealed that my 1998 Allure does not have this drip pan.
