Junction City monthy camping

Yahoo Message Number: 101129
This is or first time in Junction City. My wife and I are searching the internet on where to camp in or around Junction City. We at least want to stay a month or more. Sometimes I find it is just better to ask someone their personal experience.

Thanks,

Leon and Nina

We are presently at RV Life RV Park in Harrisburg, just 5 miles north of JC. Not bad if you have Passport America. They have a lot of construction going on here, but not bad. As soon as we get some fixes done, we are headed back about 65 miles northeast of here where there are great state and BLM parks.

We usually stay at River Bend RV Park in Harrisburg.  Plus it is close enough for Kevin to come visit and fix those little problems that arise.

I don't know how long you are allowed to stay, but Armitage County Park, between Coburg and Eugene, is a wonderful place to stay, with lots of space between sites and surrounded by woods..  There is another park alongside I-5, north of Coburn, that is a real drag.  I don't recall the name, since I never intend to stay there.  Then there is the Riverside Park in Harrisburg, just north of Junction City.  Many Country Coach people swear by this place, but I find it also to be a real drag; no shade, no facilities other than the most basic, no charm, and no real access to the river.

Ken, they are turning River Bend (River Life Resort) into a church. It is really hard to even turn your rig around. They should close the RV Park down.
