Wow, that is really cool, I had no idea about that! I guess the other thing we have going for us with diesel engines, is when the compression ratio is like 6 to one, we can boost the hell out of it, and not worry about knocking or pinging, like we would with a gasoline engine. The diesel is the perfect fit for big turbo chargers...

Another interesting thing about turbo chargers: each additional atmosphere, ( about 14.7psi) is like doubling displacement. A C13 with 14.7psi of boost is like a 26 liter. With 29.4, a 39 liter, with 44.1psi a 52 liter.
