Bottom slide seal replacement 2002 Magna

It's time to replace the bottom seal on my main living room/galley slide on my 02 Magna with the HWH front of electric slide.. The seal is the kind with the metal teeth. I am attaching a picture. Has anyone done this? Are there any tricks? Someone I know talked about using something called "magic fingers" I have no idea what they are. I would think like a plastic spatula would help to work it in. I presume you do it with the slide room out? Did you have to jack up the slide or do you just kind of work it in gradually? Do you use any adhesive? There does not appear to be any except perhaps at the ends.

We had to replace our passenger's side slide lower seal late 2016. It's exactly like the one you show. Buddy Gregg's in Knoxville did a great job while we waited.

This past September we had the bedroom lower seal quit. A local RV repair shop did it without hesitation, and after the winter in FL we can say both work as expected. Seems most competent shops should be able to do it. Good luck and safe travels.

We replaced our slide out weather stripping on the RV just last month and were fortunate enough to have passed this place while in NC. We were nearby and went by and found what we needed to do the sides of the main slide on our CC Magma, 98-#5545. Husband did it without any special tools.
Check our their RV web site..They are very helpful and make everything on site.. About 40 minutes N of Charlotte-Sherrills Ford, NC. We were at Lake Norman Motor Coach Resort just 1 mile down the road (150).

Kevin, I certainly hope this is the correct seal, since I bought it from you a few years ago! I'm just now getting around to trying to install it. I will give you a call tomorrow tho.
