Serious growl in steering

06 Inspire serious growl in the steering wheel and under my feet. The 3 filters in the reservoir are new. Pump or PTO possibly. Traveling and currently in Minneapolis where no one seems willing to look at it. Any advice would be appreciated

Freightliner or any large truck repair facility should be able to at least listen to the growling that you are concerned about. I am in Monticello, Mn and have had good luck with a place called Clearwater Truck Center in Clearwater, Mn. Their number is 320-558-6565.

Sounds like low oil level, it will make the pump cavitate and have a vibration in the steering wheel.

You could have a bad wheel bearing, might want to have them checked.

Thank you. I'll certainly keep this info. We ended up getting help from Boyer Trucks in Lauderdale, MN.
