HWH Hose burst

Yahoo Message Number: 116878
Hi-- Our 2006 Affinity had yet another HWH hose burst. Second time in 4 months... It happened while prepping to head up to Premier in Junction City. Now the challenge: The slides are all mostly in. But won't stay in place while driving with an unpressurized system. We can tie the front slides together. The issue is the rears. You can't really access the eye hook behind the drawers with the slides in. We can but it will essentially destroy the drawer front. Has anyone else found a solution to this issue? Is it possible to isolate the open part of the system and use the remaining slides?

Thanks

You may be able to disable the solenoids on the slide with the bad hose. I believe there is an extend and retract solenoid for each slide. Don't know if the HWH system is smart enough to shut down if a solenoid is not working.

My son was able to cap off the compromised section to allow the rest of the slides to work. I drove it up to Premier in Junction City this weekend. Hopefully they will be able to diagnose the root cause.

Thanks for the help!
