Help with Sauer Danfoss / PTO pump details

Greetings from east of the pond,

Before I crawl under the bus in the sand - I thought I would ask

2005 Allure - Cat C9 - #31231 - normally based in the UK

We are currently boondocking in the Canary Islands - off the west coast of Africa, for the winter - having driven down through France / Spain

so I have workshop access / language difficulties to contend with - hence this enquiry

I noticed, when moving the coach recently - a damp patch on the ground - the coach has not 'dripped' in the last several years

I have traced the offending 'drip' to a grease nipple that is normally used to pack the PTO splines / void with semi-fluid grease (very successfully thus far)

The drip is 'pink' and therefore appears to be PTO fluid - suggesting that a seal within the Sauer Danfoss pump adjoining the Chelsea Parker PTO has failed - allowing PTO fluid from the pump into the spline 'cavity' and subsequently out through the grease nipple

Enquiries to date, reveal

Dynamatic, back in the UK, - who took on the hydraulic pump side of Sauer Danfoss - can help with the C25.7L36906182160 (14/09/2004) pump - they, in fact, do a seal kit for this pump

They are however, struggling to identify the 'middle' pump - which appears to be a Sauer Danfoss Type CPB-1109 (23/11/ 2004) - these are unfortunately the only details I recorded when previously under the coach

Of course, this has to be the seals of this pump that is the more likely culprit !!

Both pumps are working fine and operating the engine fan and power steering so I am hoping that we can 'limp' back to the UK in due course, if frequently topping up the PTO fluid

To allow me to progress arrangements for a seal kit / source of a new motor, to be awaiting our return to the UK

Can anyone please expand upon the details / identification of the CPB-1109 pump, before I start digging an inspection pit in the sand

(I am aware that 'new' options exist but am hoping a seal kit might be available when I can fully identify the pump)

One pump is for the hydraulic fan the other is for the power steering.

Hi Ian
We have talked before and I am sorry to here about your problem. The original Chelsea PTO was dry and failed early in their life so most people including me
added what was called a wet kit.. This circulated transmission fluid thur the PTO
