Shore Power

Hellow good people I am the newbe proud owner of a 1987 Country Coach Savannah (38ft).  I am in a pickle I connect to shore power and nothing.  The books are very detail how to hook up and i follow them but no nothing.  I tested and retested i have good 50 amp power on the cord to the Coach but nothing at the breaker box.  All systems go with generator or engine.
I have owned 4 Bluebirds and all of them had a shore xfer switch.  The books only mention having the battery disconnect switch on.  Is there anyone out there in radio land that can assist.  I really want to get on the road and maybe join you guys somewhere at a golf course or winnery.  Any help would be greatly appreciated
Wife passed a few years back we had a 43FT Wanderlodge Bluebird, installed telephone systems for JC Penney Stores all over the US marvelous job.  I am tired of sitting at home alone ("LONER). Just purchase a 1987 Vintage Country Coach in pristen condition.  Gonna travel this great USA again, so sad it will be alone this time.  First stop will be Veterians State Park Waycross, Ga and of course they have a golf course.  Ontheroadagain

There should be a transfer switch for sure.  On mine it is in the same compartment that houses the house batteries.  I would check to see if you can find it and if there are any lights on it.

OK mystery solved.  On this 1987 Country Coach SE Savannah the transfer switch is behind the wall, behind the cloths hamper.  You have to remove the back of the cabinet.  It is a automatice xfer switch it switches auto when it detects ac power.  Unlike Bluebirds I have owned with a switch in the foot well.  So now to pack up and "Hit The Road Jack".  See you at the closest State Park with a Golf Course and/or a fishing hole.
