Best price & sales tax avoidance

Best price & sales tax avoidance We chose what to buy, then emailed for price quotes. Bill Plemmons RV got below 75% of MSRP & was much closer to home than next higher price. We bought without ever going to Plemmons. Factory delivery in OR avoided sales tax due on delivery.
Maybe CA has best price. Maybe we could have gotten better price. Buying RV from unseen dealer was not a problem, payment was done with a telephone call. Even if CA has best price, factory delivery might bypass use tax.
