Chassis Battery not charging

My chassis battery is not charging when hooked up to shore power.
Could someone get me a correct shematic as to how the batteries should be hooked up correctly. I have a '99 Allure with two house batteries and one chassis battery.

That is correct. If your rig is anything like my '95, and it probably is, the chassis battery will not charge from the inverter/charger. The isolation diode prevents that from occuring.
But the diode allows charging of the house batteries from the engines alternator. There is a relay, with switch on the dash, that allows you to jump start the engine from the house batteries if your coach battery is dead. Call CCI Tech Support. They'll send you the correct drawings. They did me.

Egon: I have a 99 Intrigue. I had the same problem. The culprit was the inverter. It seems that front panel on the inverter has contact points that meet when installed to the side panel.
To test this, remove the cover above the batteries that allow access to the inverter. loosen the screws holding the front panel of the inverter to the side panels. Rap on the front panel a few times to reestablish contact. Retighten the screws. If this fixed the problem, you have a couple of options:
One is to try cleaning the contact points with some commercial cleaner. Radio Shack sells it. The other is to take the damn inverter out and use it as a boat anchor. Replace with a new one.
I had mine out twice trying to get it to keep working. It's a terrible job to remove and replace it. I got tired of hitting the side of it every time we lost power in the coach. Finally put a new one in. Works fine now.

Just went out and checked the inverter and noticed that the switch was set to off. Correct or not? The reason I ask is the all 110v. appliances have been working when not hooked up to shore power.

In order to control the inverter from the inside panel above the entry door you need to have the switch on the inverter set to OFF. If you turn the switch to ON, the inverter will be on all the time and can not be controlled from the panel.

My chassis battery has gone south (6years of use) and I can not get to use the booster switch so all of these dumb questions come up. Matter of fact have not had to use the booster since I bought the coach in '98. Anyway, thanks to all for your responses.

There should be a switch inside the coach. I've got a 95 Magna. The switch for the inverter is under the stove top. This also turns on the inverter.
I had a problem with the 110v system not working. Turn out that I had to turn off the shore/house circuit switch and turn it back on. On the Magna it's located on the panel above the drivers seat. For some odd reason the circuit wouldn't let the inverter work.
I hope the coach came with the instruction book for the inverter. The inverter I've got has a light on it that will change from green to yellow to red.??? Lets you know if its work, etc. My book went into some detail on the inverter that was useful in figuring out it's function.

Could also be a bad power switch located behind the electrical panel in the upper cabinet in bedroom. Shore power and power from generator goes through power switch and surge protector befor going to any outlets. I had similar problem and coach is now at LazyDays having power switch replaced.
