I can appreciate Todd's (at Buddy Gregg) position of responsibility to their customers. However it incomprehensible how they, as a CC dealership, would refuse to do warranty work on CCs sold by other dealers.

Just imagine the repercussions of if a Ford, or Chevy, or Mercedes, etc., dealership treated owners in this way.

Apparently, Todd's shop has an excellent reputation if they are inundated with warranty service coaches from other parts of the country. This could raise the question. Why? Are other dealerships service departments lacking proficiency? Or is it that Todd's shop is a convenient location while travelling cross country. Maybe a little of both.

The problem is one of qualified competent mechanics/craftsmen. Most shops don't have enough qualified personnel, nor the physical plant to handle more that a set number of coaches at any one time. The only way they can function efficiently and keep customers satisfied is to use an appointment scheduling program. Most shops will try to squeeze in "emergency" repairs for someone who is travelling, much like a Doctor will disrupt his regular scheduled patients because of an emergency. But don't expect them to do general warranty work on an emergency basis.

As an old (1989), long out of warranty CC, we had service once at a RV dealer shop in Clearwater (not a CC shop) for some engine work.(replaced cracked headers). The area Ford dealers wouldn't touch it. Appointment three weeks after we called. Our coach was in the shop for over a week. Some other things we asked to have done never were. Lesson learned. Since then we found a truck repair facility nearby that has been excellent in quality and timeliness. . One of the lead mechanics used to build RVs for another manufacturer.
I have never been in a Buddy Greg facility, but I suspect if you were on the road and scheduled three or four weeks ahead of time that Todd may consider doing some warranty work. Just my opinion.
