Semi unattended coach in cold climate

Yahoo Message Number: 984
Planning to leave Allure 2002 in RV park for one month in Reno. Will stay in it on some weekends. Wondering what winterization I need to do given the following:
1. Night temps low 20's
2. Day temps in low 40's
3. Plugged into electricity
4. Running electric ceramic heater in coach -- set at, lets say 65, as I am not paying the electric bill.
5. Can put electric light (60/100? watt) in second basement (36') just in front of hookup compartment. It has an electrical outlet in the basement.
6. Water heater is two bays behind the above referenced basement on passenger side.
7. Will not leave water or sewer hooked up.
8. Gas furnace will be off (so it will not provide basement heating, as no force air heat to ducts around water pump and waste tanks.
9. Leave bathroom/laundry/kitchen cabinet doors open to expose plumbing to some direct warm air.

Questions:

1. Is that enough?
2. Should I drain water heater or leave electric water heater on?
3. Should fresh water be 80% full to give some heat mass (takes some energy to convert 32 degree water to 32 degree ice).
4. Should I remove cover from basement to water filter access to
allow heat to cirulate into that area?

General comments and experiences welcomed.

Herb,

I would leave your LP gas furnace on, set at a low temp, maybe 55 or 60.

Leave your elec water heater on.

And maybe place your ceramic heater in the 2nd bay and remove the water filter cover just in case your furnace failed while you were gone.
