Does anyone know the "exact" height of the 05 or 06 Magnas?

The only way to really "know" is to measure it. There's a difference from coach to coach 'cause of tire inflation, ride height adjustment, loaded weight, A/C-heat pump units on the roof, sat TV domes, etc. I suggest measuring from the ground to the highest part of the roof ... then simply add the height of the A/C-heat pump or other roof "thing" to that measurement and you'll have the static "exact" height. To play it safe, add a few inches to it.

It's a good idea to put a label in plain sight in feet/inches AND meters for those trips to Canada. Approaching a low overpass in Canada isn't the time to mess with metric conversion factors .

As always, Dick. Thanks for the great advice.
That's exactly what I did today. Now, if only I held the tape plumb, etc. I should be ok.

On the 05 with three AC units, roof mounted awnings and at full ride height I got about 12'10". I'll plan for 13' 6" to be safe. The area where I'm headed has a 13'10" area.

Think this will be ok??

You're welcome, as always. And thanks for the "thanks."

You don't think I'd commit myself, do you?
But I will. It should be OK, as long as you're not 'flying' when you drive under the low overhead. Because if there's a bump under the overpass, driving too fast may cause your coach to bounce up, thereby eliminating the differential.

I wouldn't worry about the example you gave. But drive a little slowly, anyway. You'll only lose a few seconds of time.

That's why we cross at Oroville. New facility, lots of clearance.

Because of the curve of the roof, here is my favorite approach for measuring coach height:

Find a gas station that is not busy. Measure the height of their canopy with a sturdy tape measure. Drive coach under the canopy, climb up on the roof, measure the free space above the highest roof mounted item. Subtract from canopy height. You now have max coach height. I did this at a station in downtown Junction City.

On my Allure, the CB antenna tip is the tallest item.
