CC Maintenance

Being a first-time CC owner, we have been unhappy with the number of problems we've had since taking delivery of our new coach in February, 2005. However, we had an interesting conversation today with the service cashier of a major RV dealer here in Tucson, AZ. While waiting for our coach to be brought around after servicing, we asked this person to name the brand of coach for which the most service orders are processed during a standard workweek, and which brand name gets the least work orders.

Of course many of these work orders may have been for routine servicing, but Country Coach and Monaco were named as coaches with the least number of service orders. That comment gave us a new perspective on our '05 Inspire.

After previously owning 2 different brands of diesel motorhomes, the CC is way ahead of the game when it comes to repairs. Of course there will be things that need attention that are CC related and we all know components will have their issues. But by far our new Allure will have none of the problems our previous brands did. It is made so much better with a lot of attention to details.
As frustrating as repairs are, it is a part of motorhoming, no matter what the cost of the unit. And so far our new rig is way ahead of the game compared to the last one.

I certainly agree with this. There have been the usual little odds and ends to take care of, but nothing major. Gee, I have never even broken down and had to have a tow truck come get me. With SOB, Good Sam came to get me 8 times in 12 months!!! Ask me why I moved up to a CC.

I am pleased to hear that other CC owners are having trouble free ownership. I only hope that our new 2005 Inspire purchased in May of this year would settle down and perform like you have indicated tours has.
We are going out again this weekend and an number of the weekends in the coming months so hopefully everything will go well. Wish is luck!
