front door '03 Allure

Can anyone help with a front door problem that has been like that since I got the coach! When I open the door it springs open about 5 inches and than when you push it to get out, you better hang on to it or it will fly open! Is there a spring inside the door that can be adjusted or can one be installed to counteract? Any help would be great.................

There is this small thin guide that can snap off in a heart beat if there is any wind against the door. We've already broken it once and I bet it won't be the first time. Now when opening the door we are very careful not to let it get away from us. When we had the door apart there was no adjustment. Maybe others are different, but it sounds similar. And we have the larger, wider door, which is nice, but very heavy.
