The Great Outdoors, Titusville, Fla.

Paul Thomas noted the small community atmosphere at The Great Outdoors Resort at Titusville. During our stay there we were very impressed with that very aspect. The minute we went thru the very impressive front gate, we felt at home. There is something very special about the sense of community one feels when they are in a community of like minded individuals. Instead of "your own your own" or "it's none of my business" there is a spirit of family, of looking out for each other. For those of you who have lived in large cities, you may be missing something. We have lived in a small town for over 30 years. We like to say we are close enough to the big city, yet far enough away. Rockwall, Texas is about 30 miles east of Dallas. When we moved here we were less that 5,000 people, but have grown, of course, over the years. But still, when our football team plays a Dallas team in Dallas, we fill the Dallas stadium with Rockwall fans who have made the trip. Sadly, we look across the field to the home team and only see a few parents of players, band members, etc. They have no sense of community, we do. The Great Outdoor Resorts has a lot to offer. The very best part of the experience there may be the wonderful people and their sense of community. There is just something special about being with people you enjoy being around. Kinda like getting together with you Country Coachers.

Sorry. Not sure why it's not working. Tried Google and it confirms that it's the correct address. Willow Lakes is just now building phase 2B lots and the builder is same as Great Outdoors. This is a great small cummunity here. One big family. You should check it out since it is so close to Great Outdoors. Good luck.
