Dash Air

I guess I'm going to have to tear into the dash air on my coach.

Does anyone have a schematic for the dash air on an 08 Affinity? I'm tired of not having decent control of the dash air. The drivers control seems to have 1/8" of control between cold and hot and the passenger side seems to control the temp when it wants to, alternating between hot and cold.
I have seen reference to a modulating valve in past posts and will be checking these first. Any other ideas?

Not sure bit do these coaches have blend doors on AC ducts? I know cars have similar issues. Good Luck

Have a great day!

Update

I found electrical schematics, troubleshooting guides, and everything you ever wanted to know about the Evans Tempcon dual zone dual blower HVAC system at their website. Evans Tempcon, Inc. They supplied the AC and Heat systems for Country Coach when mine was built.

Their trouble shooting guide covers all aspects of the system including electrical resistance measurements for the temperature control and detailed explanation of the blend doors and the water flow control system.

Now, if I could just find the water flow control valves on my coach???

On my 08 Magna there behind a panel that is ex[osed on passenger side when the gen slide is out. It has for screws on the cover and there will be two valves. This cover is above your head if your sitting on the ground.

Terry,

Every CC I've ever looked at has the flow control valves in the same place so yours may be there as well. Behind the passenger headlight in the generator bay. There are two, one each for the passenger and drivers sides. They are black, roundish mounted to a bracket. Each has a coolant in and out hose and they are a little bigger than a pack of cigarettes. There are also wires to them providing for valve control.

Good luck.
