Cummins ISC transducer and device list Rev 1

Yahoo Message Number: 2228
Hi Coach Owners, (sorry about the typo in the subject) In message 2155, the location of CC (OEM) dedicated ISC engine transducers was provided. Below is a list of the Cummins transducers and devices which are connected to the ECM connector A (50 pin). They are illustrated on Page 1-21 of the Cummins ops and maintenance manual; page 1-22 further shows OEM selected devices not all of

which are used by the ECM (e.g. 5. (except cruise control which is used), 6., & 7.) - reference foldout schematic #S0699. Here is the list: Accumulator fuel pressure/temperature sensor Front pumping control valve solenoid Rear pumping control valve solenoid Injection control valve

Injection control valve identifier (Fuel) lift pump
Engine speed
Engine position

Oil pressure (this is one of 2 - there is an OEM oil pressure sender also)
Intake manifold pressure

Coolant temperature (this is one of 2 - there is an OEM coolant temperature sender also) Intake manifold air temperature
Ambient Air Pressure

Coolant level (OEM provided - mounted in coolant reservoir)

J1939 data link connector (9 pin)
J1587 data link connector (6 pin)
Engine brake enable signal line

3 ea 7.5 amp and 2 ea 10 amp fused lines and returns to the chassis battery

For the OEM interfaces to the Cummins ECM connector B (50 pin), please see foldout schematic #S0699.

Note that your engine serial number is cross referenced to a CDL number which then provides the part number for each of the sensors installed in your engine.
