Ron reports -

We were vendors at the Tampa RV Show last week and at the Atlanta RV show this week. We (and I believe all the other vendors) were seriously concerned with the potential turnout of attendees. All this concern was, of course, based on the economy.

Well, good news - at least for the RV world... The turnout at the Tampa show was fine. I do not have (and likely will not get) the official final count of door receipts nor comparison with last year but for our booth, our book sales, and the vendors we talked to, everyone was happy. We were profitable and that is our primary benchmark. That's a good thing as we really don't want to have actually lose money to be at these shows.

The Atlanta RV show was the same way. Crowds slightly smaller than last year but people were spending money - buying RVs (big and small) or making plans to purchase one in the near future. It was good to hear.
I just wanted to report a breath of fresh air in these economic times.
