Engine/gen service

Normally I do my own service work, but find I'm not able to do it right now and the work needs to be done. Can anyone give me a ballpark idea of what the going rates are for engine air, oil&filters with fuel filters change and same costs for gen.

I appreciate the input.

approx $336.48 for oil change and fuel filters and lube of the chassis. gen approx $188.00 hope this helps

I had the oil/filter changed, both fuel filters, greased the chassis and changed oil/filter on gen, and VA state inspection
Cost about $500.00, next time except for the State inspection I'll do it my self

Thanks for the input - looks like $350 to $500 would be a range for that type of service...seems a bit high but then its been some time since I have had someone else do the work for me.

I've had good, inexpensive PM service at Speedco (Las Vegas) Usually in and out in less than an hour. Last two invoices were for $211 (Oct 2006) and $202 (Nov 2008). Includes lube/oil/filter, two fuel filters, coolant filter, coolant test, check all fluids including wheel hubs - Fleetguard filters.
Mobile service at Jan 2008 Indio FMCA rally was $321 for LOF only w/Baldwin filters; no coolant service or other fluid checks.

For air filter: add $50-$75 plus 10-15 minutes labor.

Cummins (Las Vegas) genset service was $180 in 2003.

I've used Triple M Mobile Mechanics (see listing in Database section of this forum) for PM service. Phone 520-434-9494. I'd use them again.

Jack's RV Service used to sub out PM-type work to Triple M.
