Rear ride height valves

Allure #30180, 1998

This coach had the retrofit where they replaced the two front ride height valves with one and put the larger Continental tires on (I now have Goodyears of the same size as the Continentals).

Questions:
1. Would the rears have been replaced as part of this retrofit?
2. If not, I think these should be replaced just because of age. One of them (on the drivers side) has to be adjusted right to the top of the rod to get a level rod Does anyone know the best replacement valves and part number to be used, and where these might be ordered over the Internet? Do they have any kind of in line air filter that should also be replaced?
3. How difficult are these to replace? Not hard to get to them but will the bags collapse when you remove the air line to them?

It is to my understanding that on some chassis configurations that the ride height has a lot to do with the the drop angle of a slip joint drive shaft. The drop angle of the drive shaft has a lot to do with universal joint wear. Does the above need to be taken into consideration when adjusting the ride height?

When you replace the RH valves make sure the air is out of the bags and youy have room under the caich to work. I made ramps using stacked 2x8's and double 4x4's. With the air out ot the bags, I had enough room to safely get under the MH. I'm kinda skinny may need to adjust for your size. Not hard to replace. Safety First!!!

Forgot a couple of items. There is a procedure in the files section along with the factory adjustment specifications for 1995-2003 coaches and some 2004. Take a look at those as starters.
