Fleet Charge Coolant

I've read most of the posts on coolant's but I am still confused. If one continues using a fully formulated anti-freeze which includes an SCA, does it matter which brand is being used. I have just come across a local industrial supply place which carries Fleet Charge which states that it is TMC RP329 compatible. My CC manual tells me that I should use a fully formulated anti-freeze which meets TMC RP329 or 330 specs. Based on this it appears that the Fleet Charge is same stuff as is Fleetguard compleat. Fleet Charge is manufactured by same company that manufactures the OAT based product Final Charge Global. So if I want to stay with an SCA based anti-freeze then it appears that Fleet Charge should provide same protection as does Fleetguard compleat. Is anyone using Fleet Charge?

I use fleet Charge when I change my anti freeze. I was able to find it at NAPA in 100% form. As you know it uses SCA. The charged coolant filters I use are made by Baldwin. Baldwin uses DCA. I called Baldwin and asked then about SCA and DCA. They said they are interchangeable. So I use a DCA loaded coolant filter with Fleet Charge. I test my anti freeze yearly with the strips and it alway comes out good.

Are you able to change your coolant filter or do you have to have that done at a service center? I am thinking if I remove the engine cover under the bed that I might be able to get to it that way. Anyone have an easy way to access and change the coolant filter on 2000 Intrigue?

I access mine from underneath the the engine, driver's side. I can't get to it from the top. I have the Cummins ISL 370 and mine is close to the oil filter.

None on ours. Was told Inspires don't have them - the early models anyway. It isn't hard to add one.
Also remember that the coolant installed by the factory requires next to no additions and will last many years and thousands of hours. A CC tech told me if properly monitored it could last the life of the coach - or more accurately the cooling system - until it leaks or requires replacement of major parts.

On my 400 cumins the coolant filter is located on the port side of the engine next to the spin on oil filter. I can access mine from under the coach. There is a valve so the filter can be isolated. With engines that have the red PTO attached to the Allison I have heard there is no coolant filter.
