Slideout adjustment (also exterior trim piece)

Yahoo Message Number: 55925
Good morning!

Has anyone adjusted the travel of the D slide (bedroom, driver's side - bed).
CC replaced this slide summer before last and I just discovered that it does not extend fully. With the slide extended, I can feel a gap between the bulb weather strip and the flange around the slide. (The flange is covered by cherry molding on both sides and across the top.) That weather strip is supposed to be compressed by the flange, providing an "airtight, watertight" seal.
I have gone through all of my documentation, and cannot find it in the files section of our group.
I am surprised that Bob Handren hasn't posted something about it since he has done every possible maintenance and repair job to that slide and has provided the group with every detail except what he had for breakfast. Eggs and bacon, Bob?
I reattached the trim pieces on the A slide, and they both had needed caulking before they separated. I'm pretty sure that was the cause of a mysterious slight water leak into my rear pass through bay on the driver's side. What water catchers those trip pieces are. I would blame them for anyone's interior leaks as well.

OK, OK, cheesh, try to keep a low profile for a few days. ;-)
That's actualy the one thing I haven't done to a slide - yet. I've also avoided removing one and probably never will.
There should be some adjustable stop bolts. Lift up the bed and with the slide full out check the stops. As our coaches used Power Gear slides there should be some docs on their web site as well.
I'd look but there is, unfortunately, no assurance ours is like anyone elses - CC tried lots of slide designs and we're getting ready to take off for the Titusville, FL SECC get together. We hope to see everyone there!
