OOPS....My mistake......its a MAXON CB......

We had a problem receiving on our MAXON CB. The 1st repairman badmouthed it and recommended buying another new unit. Cynical me, I decided to try another repairman.
We went to Appollo Comm. in Glendale, Az. He compressed the radio, back to front, with hand pressure...lo and behold reception came alive. He commented that this is a common problem with this unit.
They added some solder to the contact points of the circuit board + tweeked it up, now getting good comm.....cost : $ 60.00.
