Gray and Black Water Vents

Is there a procedure for making sure that the gray and black water roof vents are working properly?
There have been several posts of CC'ers experiencing odors in the coaches and told to replace vents under sinks and make sure that they work properly. CC told me to replace them a couple of years ago and I noticed that the new ones were a lot tighter and it looked like CC or someone else had removed parts in the old ones to make it easier for air to be sucked into them.
So, I believe that it is possible that the water in the P traps will be sucked out by the action of the roof vents if the air vents under the sinks are too tight and in any event, this will produce more of a vacuum in the coach. When this happens as when the coach is stopped at a stop light, the coach will suck air out of the drains to get to a Equilibrium.
In my mind, maybe there should have been some sort of gate valve on the drains when driving as well as a way to introduce a positive air pressure in the coach. I also don't know if there is an issue with producing a slight vacuum in the waste tanks while traveling.
I am working on a way to pressurize the coach which would eliminate several of these issues.

Your thoughts..
