Dry to wet PTO change over

Hi all, I'm one of the "luckey" ones with a dry Chelsea PTO on my '06 Inspire... the "darned" thing has'ent failed YET. Were NOT going to start another trip untill I fix the CC blunder. Bless their hearts.
Is this a fix a person can do themselves or must it be farmed out? I've looked at and read PTO101 and other comments on this site and it looks as if it's a straight forward change-over using regular hand tools. I would think pressing out shafts and reinstalling same could be done at a NAPA machine shop. Upon retirement I lost access to a lot of shop equipment including a press. Boo-hoo at times like this :). I did e-mail JDRV in OR last week seeking some answers/advice but have'nt heard back from them.
At any rate, any tips, dos/ don't dos or other advice, best place to buy parts (least expensive),or any other good helpful info. would be appreciated.
Thank GOD (or whome ever you believe in) for this site, we all would be lost without it.

Hi Dave, I also have an 2006 inspire with the dry pto. I have removed and lubed it every year at service time and it shows no wear. It is very easy to lube. I can't bring myself to spend the money for the wet parts when it is so easy to maintane it.

I did it myself, no press was necessary, all hand tools, no harder than replacing the starting in a big block American car with headers.
As there is no warning of impending failure not making the change to save a few hundred dollars makes no sense to me versus many thousands of dollars potential damage (reported by an onwer who had it happen), the safety issue of losing power steering and possibly having it happen while in a turn on the Pacific Coast Highway overlooking the ocean.....

It can't happen to me is a lousy bet, just my .02.

Purchased my wet kit from JD and installed myself. Needed a helper to get pump into PTO and to hold it while bolts were started. Could have done it myself with straps & jack but Iam getting too old and smart to muscle stuff myself anymore. JD was of assistance by phone and confirmed a couple of things that I hand questions about.
