Engine Warning Light - a Mystery

Yahoo Message Number: 62975
We have been sitting here on our Pacific Shores lot for 12 days after returning from service in Junction City. Last night the weathercasters predicted rain so we went to pull in our steps before going to bed. Nada! Also, nothing happened when turning the ignition key and no lights.
This morning using the battery boost it started and we ran it for 15 minutes. Steps now work and there are lights.
BUT: Silverleaf says: Echo Power Fault #251, Low Fuel Pressure #94 and the Engine Warning Light is lit.

What is going on? Ideas? Suggestions? Help?

Hi Shirley. Could be that your Echo Charger, which maintains your chassis batteries got disconnected or bumped by accident when you had the JC service. So your chassis batteries may be discharged. Do a check of you batteries with a voltmeter and also check the status of your echo charger.

It sounds like the basic problem is the engine batteries. the steps work off the engine battery. The battery is low, could be a fault with the echo charger or time to replace. I have an 07 Coach and changed batteries last year.

FWIW on our '06 Allure last April when we had some work done we had them load test the chassis battery and it was marginal. Our steps thsi past month stopped working and when I checked the chassis battery it was less than 10V...definitely shot.
WHat I have learned since then is that the echo charger will NOT attempt to charge a battery bank if the other battery bank has more than a 2V difference. Since our house batteries were fine that meant that once the chassis batteries went below abou 10.1 the charger wasn't even attempting to charge them. When we leave in a couple of weeks we are oing to have the chassis batteries changed (there is no place convenient/reasonable to do so where we are for now).
Also, the chassis batteries provdie the power to our one bedroom slide that is hydraulic, so unless we hold down the battery boot switch or run the engine we cannot retract/extend that one slide.

Thank you to the three posts about the chassis battery being the potential problem. I have called the Good Sam person in this Newport area to come and do a load test on it. I will check in on this site with the result. This site is the best.
Herb: I remember a CC rally at the Lane County Fair Grounds in Eugene (maybe 2003 or 2004) and you were parked away from the rest of the coaches. You had a big banner on your coach saying YAHOO Website available. You also had a lot of handouts with he Yahoo information spread around the rally area saying how to join and what it might do for Country Coach owners. Did you ever imagine what your idea would become?
