CREDIT CARD FRAUD - SAN FELIPE PUEBLO
Don't fuel-up at San Felipe Pueblo fuel station on I-25 between Albuquerque and Santa Fe!
#1. In June when we started on our trip, we fueled up at San Felipe Pueblo and Bill used his credit card. When we travel he uses this credit card for fuel. We fueled up on Wednesday. On Monday morning we received a phone call from our credit card company asking if we had booked airline tickets for two round trips to Kuwait on Friday. I had called them before we left on this summer's trip telling them where we were going to be traveling this summer. The company froze the card immediately. It is the opinion of the cc company and us that whoever took all the information from our credit card, sold it. We won't be stopping there for fuel anymore.
#2. Sounds like they are targeting Truck Stops. I haven't been able to prove it, but I believe that the same thing happened at the Flying J in Eloy. Within 2 days of stopping there for gas (not diesel) for our car, I received a call from the credit card company that someone was trying to use the card number. They froze it immediately. Since that time, Flying J has changed their equipment. A newspaper article less than a week after my experience stated that the thieves are able to put scanners into the credit card readers on the gas pumps and you don't know that it is scanning your card.

Y'all be careful out there!
