PS slide (potential) problem

On my 09 Allure cp, my ps slide seems to be developing a problem. First thing I noticed was the bottom of the slide, at the front of the coach there is a peice of channal that runs from the front of the slide toward the drivers side, has come loose. When the slide is out, the piece drops down about 1/4 inch. It seems that the glue or whatever holds it has come loose. The second thing that I notice is that when the slide is moving to the closed position there is a fairly loud POP at one point, about half way in. It does not seem to grab just pops. Has anyone had this problem. I am hesitant to glue the channal until I know what the popping is. I am in Palm Springs at the moment and if any one can help please contact me.
