Easiest way to service GE Advantium oven?

Last night my wife was cooking a pizza at 450 deg and oven shut down. Power to unit is fine , everything on unit seems dead no leds, lights etc. I am wondering the best way to service unit should i remove from coach ans take into service center or can they usually repair without removing unit. We had same thing happen. I believe it was the "thermistor" or something like that that burned up. Known problem with that oven. We took it to Lazydays in FL and they removed it and repaired. Not sure if they had to send it out or just replace the part. That was several years ago and it's worked fine ever since. I try not to use it at 450 degrees anymore. I use 425 and it works for most things.

Had that problem with another brand. There is a fuse inside that is/should be accessible from the front panel. Problem is that when that fuse goes, something else is usually a problem. We replaced the oven, cheaper than repairing when you catch them on sale. BTW we replaced the old one with an Advantium. If your oven is 7 year old, I would consider replacing it. Check the fuse, replace it with a "Radio Shack" glass fuse (don't use the ceramic to check), if it blows ya gotta big problem, if it works, go to an appliance store and get the ceramic version. If the fuse isn't the problem, you can call a repair person and they may be able to repair it in the coach. Not difficult to remove though, cheaper if you take it to a repair facility.

BTW replacing the oven with the same is not very difficult.
