Another view

With much respect and appreciation for all you do in taking care of this site I would like to comment on your recent decision regarding CCI. What happens to CCI is important to every member of this forum just as what may happen to the forum would be important to every CC owner. We are all a bunch of abandoned orphans and the more we can communicate with each other and support each other is very important. CCI is an integral part of a community of RV owners who love the life style. Each owner and each organization combine to form a fabric of interwoven ideas, concerns, passions, support and ultimately survival of a brand. I do agree that we do not need belly aching, name calling and other inappropriate banter that would only serve to divide. But, we do need to stay aware of all issues involving CC owners and their future. This forum is critical to that end.
Having said my piece I shall say no more. Keep up the good work.

To respectively disagree and in response to your comment "What happens to CCI is important to every member of this forum"; I could care less what happens to CCI. I would expect most folks on this forum would agree because most folks on this forum are not part of CCI. I put this in context that how many folks are members of CCI vs how many folks own a CC ... maybe 10% ... a guess on my part.
Now having said that, I have no problem with CCI "stuff" being posted on this site ... I subscribe by the axiom of: if I don't what to read a post, I just delete without making a big deal about whether is it appropriate or not.

What is it that people don't get? It has been repeatably noted that you can read all this stuff on CCI's site, and the site address has been posted. I also could not care less, and do not want to see this site cluttered up with this stuff. Go to CCI's Yahooo site if you want to read it. I want to know about fixing problems with my coach!

I agree with Lyle Wetherholt. I get the CCI User Group emails automatically but only rarely view the CCI club site or yahoo group site although I'm a CCI member. I thought the two were related. I'm glad the CCI controversy was brought to light even if the forum was inappropriate.

I suppose Mr Colby that you would rather have this site cluttered with accusations(unfounded) that CCI released a list of CC owners to the Howard"s Barrie Boas 94 Concept 5111
