Intrigue End Cap

Does anybody have any ideas on where I could get a rear cap for a 1997 Intrigue ? Got clipped by a Big Rig the other day and am going to need a new rear cap. We are currently at lake Charles LS awaiting insurance appraisal.

I would start with Country Coach Corp. The Lee's bought a lot of stuff and they might have the old molds but I doubt it. Let the insurance company handle it, that's what you pay them for.

Bob:

The Lee's kept all the molds for the fiberglass parts when they bought the intellectual property from the auction. You can try getting ahold of them after Jan. 3rd to find out when they are start making these parts again. The Country Coach website is up and running (www.countrycoach.com) & you can follow any progress from the website.

Bob,

There are a few truck places around the united states that specialize in fiberglass work on big trucks. Fiberglass is much easier to repair than metal. A break or bend in the fiberglass can easily be cut, molded, sanded and repainted much faster than trying to bend out something simular made of metal. Fiberglass will retain its shape whereas metal will stretch and make it much harder to work with.
So if you cannot find a rear cap I would find a good fiberglass repair place that perhaps specializes in big rigs with body damage, (most of them have fiberglass bodies these days).

my opinion,

There is a body shop in Nacogdoches, TX that specializes in RV painting and repairs. These folks do absolutely amazing work and can repair anything fiberglass or metal. When I had my Foretravel, they updated the front end of my coach and painted on the graphics (they're a BIG hit in the Foretravel community) as well as take out the dings. Their prices are reasonable and fair. Call Jennifer and she'll fix you right up. Here's their site: http://www.xtremegraphics.net/

Let the insurance company do the legwork, they may realize the repair is worth much more if parts aren't available! They may need to allow extra $$$ for your downtime until parts can be located and shipped in. Might even need a rental :)
