Well, after much consternation and research we have decided to remove the Norcold and replace it with a Samsung RF197ACBP. Even though our Norcold has had a new cooling unit and the second recall accomplished as well as the fire extinguisher I just can't get comfortable with it. Peace of mind is worth a lot. We don't dry camp very often so a battery upgrade at this time is not in the cards. We will monitor the batteries closely and make that decision later. Anyone that wants to help is welcome to come to Las Cruces and join in the fun.
