240/120 vac 5oamp New Question

I have been following the thread on 50 amp power but not from the beginning so I apologize if this has been already covered.
I just have had my new pad finished with 50 amp power. The electrician wired it exactly like my residential wiring ie 240 volt. 4 wires 120v,120v, neutral, ground. The load is more or less balanced between the 2 legs.
When I am plugged into 50 amps I can run both air conditioners, I assume one on each leg.
When I am plugged into 30 amps I can run either air conditioner but not both.
My question is how or what switches the 2 legs together. I understand that the EMS makes sure that the combined load does not exceed 30 amps but how do we get the second leg to run on the first leg?

If I understand your question, the 30 amp to 50 amp converter pigtail feeds the 30 amp 120 volt output onto the two normally 240/120 volt legs. Inside the pigtail the 120 volt leg from the 30 amp service is split into two wires connecting to each 50 amp leg from the coach. The neutral and ground are run straight through.

Similarly, a 15 Amp to 30 Amp pigtail splits the 15 Amp input to both sides of the 30mp pigtail so that you have 120VAC available on all of your outlets. Of course you are limited to a total of 15 Amps but that's enough to run your fridge, battery charger at float, and maybe even a coffee maker, etc. Just don't try to run everything at once and don't even think about turning an AC on.

Short and Brief, Yes you can run Both Airs on 50 amp 4 wire. Your Coach Transfer Sw. is wired for this! BTW Im on the same power here in Yuma. Enjoy your new power Pedistal and make sure the Elec. checks proper Ploarity ground and Neutral at Your new Pedistal before you plug in. Be Safe! Ken 99 Allure 30356
