ceiling material rippled in one spot and slow retracting electric sl

we just landed in florida from tennessee for a few months & just noticed a rippled area in the ceiling material about 6" out towards the main ceiling fixture, (out from the wood trim) on the passenger side. We did have some major rain as we had spent a few days at Hudson, Fl. to have windows done, but we never put out the passenger side slide.

We hope this isn't a leak from somewhere? Any suggestions. can't photograph it as it's too slight a ripple, but the ripple effect it's almost as if you put down that peel and stick old fashioned shelf liner and it would get bubbles in it if not flat or wallpaper is a better analagy.

our electric slide is also moving extremely slow in and out.
Help and suggestions appreciated. We have a good facility in Sarasota that comes out to the site for repairs, but our main concern is a water leak.

If you have a leak, Creative Coach in Lakeland can probably find it, I had a leak which they found and fixed very quickly.

as luck would have it, there is a man in the same resort that is a claims specialists for motorhomes; he has one of a few high dollar testers that can detects minute leaks in motorhomes and he stopped by to take a look. it's actually the vinyl that is slowly pulling away from the glue - which we were happy to hear and not a leak anywhere. we wondered about that as we had sub zero temps in nashville and lots of snow & ice on the roof when we left; spent 4 days in Hudson, fl for the windows and then into temps of 75 degrees. we think the huge temp swing might have spurred this separation on.

now all we need to do is find out about the electric slide.
a question though; how often do those motors go out on the electric slides? this is the first time we've had an electric slide in a coach.

Finding a rain leak in a motorhome is pretty low tech. Finding the SOURCE of the leak is the challenge, and I don't know any way to find one other than logical guess work.
