Broken manifold.

If you have the problem of a broken exhaust manifold you should have the charge air cooler checked for leaks. Often a leaking charge air cooler leads to higher than normal exhaust heat leading to the broken manifold problem. At least that is what happened to mine. 2000 Intrique 350 cummins

Having mine Just replaced I had them check the Turbo but not the Charge air cooler, Good thought! The biggie I had working at Cat was the Intake Manifold heater element bolwing apart and damaging the intake manifold charge cooler built in the cyl. head Lucky for us in rv's we dont have this issue, Very expensive and having to blow out fragments out of the Boost piping Cyl. head etc. . Thanks for sharing A good boost pressure Ga. is in order, Ken 99 Allure 30356
